Who We Are
"Historia", Valorization of Cultural Goods, was created in Ferrara in 1999 and is formed by graduate, final year students and specialists with different education: prehistory and protohistory historicians, archeologists of classical area, as well as historicians of art.
Both during university studies and through collaborations with several scientific institutions as Museums and Superintendences, each member has obtained experiences in the field of museum didactics, cataloguing of archeological material and valorization of the archeological and historical-artistic heritage, which is kept both in museums and in larger contexts.
Since the creation of "Historia", our aim has been the valorization of Cultural Goods, i.e. the acquaintance at all levels (scientific, divulgation, touristic) with the cultural heritage, which is too often on second plan.
The short adfirmation "Valorization of Cultural Goods" lets you understand that our intent is not only the archeological divulgation; "Historia" operates at all levels.
Art, history, archeology, literature, architecture, peasants' culture: our proposals are aimed at (re)discovery and divulgation of all aspects of human culture.
